Bio
Monica was introduced to golf as a youngster by her grandfather in south Georgia. During a successful career with Wilson Sporting Goods in Greenville she won four club championships at The Cliffs Valley, 1996, 1999, 2001 and 2002.  
 She was inspired to become a PGA member from her association with the local women’s golf network, Professional Businesswomen’s Golf Network working with women and juniors.  She was an assistant at Kenmure Country Club in Flat Rock, NC before joining Verdae Greens golf staff in 2008.  
She enjoys teaching and encouraging players of all levels. She is a PGA apprentice in the PGA/PGM education program.

Teaching Mission Statement
As a dedicated
teaching golf professional I strive to create an atmosphere for enjoyable learning, to encourage students to improve their golf within their ability, to help every student gain a greater enjoyment in the game of golf and to use clear explanations of swing principles and practice drills to assist students improve.
 My teaching time will be focused completely on the student.  I will provide individual lessons, encourage a series of multiple lessons to enhance the learning process, provide small clinics to provide instruction at an affordable price, and develop special teaching environments as requested.
I will be on time and prepared for each lesson.  I will be available to students as often as possible without sacrificing my responsibilities to my employer and family.


Adult Instruction -
Private Lessons 30 mins $35 
                        60 mins, $50
Lesson series   (3) 30 min., $105 
                       (3) 45 min.  $140

Junior Instruction (under 14 yrs)
Private Lessons   30 mins $25 
Lesson series   four 30 mins lessons



Beginner Series     $150
Three lesson series  Putting, chipping/pitching, full swing

Playing Lessons
75 mins     $85
90 mins    $100

Playing lessons can be either course management or
focused on a particular area of the game.
